S. Army, Director General, Civil Affairs ORDER: ARTICLE I That Article III, Order No. 442 dated 11 September 1947, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows : „Captain C. S. D. NOAKES, O. R. E. R. N. (Ret), is hereby named Director of the Port of Trieste.“ ARTICLE II This Order shall become effective on the date it is signed by me. Dated at Trieste, this 4th day of May 1948. Army Director General, Civil Affairs Order No. 241 RAILWAY TARIFF MODIFICATIONS ON SINGLE WAGON LOAD CONSIGNMENTS WHEREAS it is desired to revise existing tariffs under Railway Tariff No. 404, P. V. Toy reducing the previous rates, and WHEREAS administrative instructions were issued to effect said modifications or revisions' of rates, as from 15 March 1948, in that Zone of the Free Territory of Trieste administered by the Br itish- United States Forces ; NOW, THEREFORE, I, RIDGELY GAITHER, Brigadier General U. S. Army, Director General Civil Affairs, ORDER: ARTICLE I Section 1. —- The provisions of Exceptional Tariff No. 404 P. V. pertaining to fuH'Rail-way Wagon Consignments, are hereby modified and revised as follows : “General merchandise loaded in one -wagon (car) shall be subject to the charges prescribed for the following categories : CLASS FULL LOADS : minimum weight No. 65 5 Tons No. 68 10 Tons No. 71 15 Tons Section 2. — The said Tariff shall not be applicable to : a) Objects of Art. b) Inflammable and explosive material. c) Single Items of over 5 Tons. d) Consignments of Goods in Bulk (or Bulky items requiring an entire wagon (car) and goods which by reason of their weight are subject to a full wagon rate. e) Consignments consisting of one commodity. f) Consignments, where the weight of one commodity exceeds one half of the whole load. Section 3. — Special Conditions: This Tariff shall only be applicable upon special request of the consignor to be made by indicating the number 404 P. V. in the proper column on the Bill of Consignment. Such request shall be obligatory upon the forwarder and shall also imply the waiver of the provisions of Arts 24 and 72 of the Conditions and Tariffs pertaining to the transport of goods. Section 4. — The tariffs referred to in this Order shall also be applicable to goods coming from abroad. ARTICLE n This Order shall become effective on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette and shall be operative as from 15 Ma ch 1948. Dated at TRIESTE, this Oth day of May 1948. Army i" - i ■ Director General, Civil Affairs Notice No. 10 MINIMUM WAGES TO BE PAID TO THE PERSONNEL EMPLOYED BY THE FIRM „GIORGIO TRICCI“ Notice is hereby given that the Minimum Wage Board established by Order No. 63 dated December 1st, 1947, has issued the following award concerning the personnel employed by the Firm Giorgio TRICCI, that has been duly approved by the Department of Labour, on April 16th, 1948 : LODO: La Ditta Giorgio TRICCI svolge attività di acquisto e vendita stracci e alla stessa stregua delle altre aziende similari va inserita fra le aziende commerciali ; per tale motivo ai dipendenti della stessa vanno estesi i minimi salariali e loro eventuali modificazioni, previsti dal contratto per il personale dipendente dalle aziende commerciali merci varie e abbigliamento, stipulalo in data 11 settembre 1947, con le clausole di tale contratto che con tali minimi sono strettamente connesse ; si intende pure estesa l’indennità di contingenza del settore commerciale e sue successive variazioni.
