WASHINGTON, D.C. Če bo Izrael še dalje očitno podpiral kristjane v njihovem boju proti Palestincem in muslimanom, se utegne položaj naglo nevarno zaplesti. V to število niso Vključeni duševno zaostali. Igrajo “Mladi muzikantje”. Vinko Zaletel. To so l^esede g. Smith, veteran Euclid attorney, accountant and businessman, has announced he will seek to retain his present seat on the Euclid Board of Education. Citing the need of his four years experience to help stabilize and balance the efficiency and progress of the Euclid educational system, Smith asserted there are dire problems ahead in the education of the children of Euclid. “Recent judicial rullings, the never-ending financial bind, the problems with declining enrollment, and the ever-present complexities of running a large school system; cry for an experienced hand for guidance,” Smith said. A former interim judge of the Euclid Municipal Cburt, Smith has served as president of the Euclid Board of Education. Presently, he is president of the Euclid Development Corporation, a non-profit organization pledged to improve industry, commerce and residential advancement in the community. Smith is also a merryber of the Greater Cleveland Growth Board Association, the Euclid . 0--- mon- thly meeting on Sept. 1st that Councilman Dave Trenton received the club’s endorsement for re-election to council. Medved stated, “It is the feeling of the members that Councilman Trenton has been an outstanding representative for the people of our area.” Trenton has proven through his voting record attendance, concern and responsiveness that he truly acts in the best interest, of the residents he serves. Also his leadership in the community with such programs as the Man and Woman of the year banquet, Ward festival, Christmas party and Easter egg hunt has been a great thing for our community continued Medved, foseph Muzic, Democratic ton for the Ward club endorsement. “Dave Trenton has been able to get our fair share of city services.” (What little is available in the city). Muzic continued that it is a shame that Councilman Trenton is saddled with past policies of lack of foresight by our leaders with such things as the flooding problems. I personally know that Dave has been working very hard in trying to correct many of the long standing prob lems.” Trenton stated that he felt honored by the endorsement as it comes from the people of the community and is real grass roots support. Smith and his wife, Edna, live at 25751 Lake Shore Blvd. They have five children, all of whom have gone through the Euclid School system. “I think we have a fine system,” Smith said, “and I most certainly will put aU; the skill and dedication at my command to help maintain the high level of education for which the Euclid school system is noted.” Memo From Madeline: (Continued from Page 5) September: 1' — Josephine Brodnik 2 — Frank Spelich 5 — Rose Eichenberg 12 — Frank Lence 17 — Mary Penca * * * All members of S.W.U.
