RESTITUTION OF EXCISE DUTY ON SOLVENT PETROL CONTAINED IN THE PRODUCT NAMED „LIGHTER FLUID“ DESTINED FOR EXPORTATION
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to grant the benefit of restitution of excise duty in respect of solvent petrol contained in the product named „lighter fluid“ destined for exportation, in that part of the Free Territory of Trieste administered by the British-United States Forces,
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SIR JOHN WINTERTON, KCMG,_CB, CBE, Major General, Zone Commander,
ORDER:
ARTICLE I
Industries manufacturing the product „lighter fluid“ shall be granted the benefit of restitution of excise duty on solvent petrol contained in said product when exported under Bill form A/55.
ARTICLE II
This Order shall become effective on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette, Dated at TRIESTE, this 10th day of May 1954

OFFICIAL PRICE OF COFFEE FOR THE PURPOSE OF APPLICATION OF TURNOVER TAX
WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to establish the official price of coffee for the purpose of application of turnover tax, in that part of the Free Territory of Trieste administered by the British-United States Forces,

TEMPORARY PROTECTION OF INVENTIONS, MODELS, SHOP DRAWINGS AND TRADEMARKS PRESENTED AT THE FAIR OF TRIESTE
WHEREAS it is deemed necessary to provide for the temporary protection of inventions, models, shop drawings and trademarks not covered by patents or by duly deposited applications therefor, concerning items to be presented at the Fair of Trieste which will take place between 17 June and 4 July 1954,
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SIR JOHN WINTERTON, KCMG, CB, C'BE, Major General, Zone Commander,
ORDER:
ARTICLE I
Industrial inventions, models, shop drawings and trademarks not covered by patents or by duly deposited applications therefor, concerning items presented at the Fair of Trieste, to be held between 17 June and 4 July 1954, shall, according to relevant regulations, have the temporary protection provided by the Laws now in force during the period of their presentation.
ARTICLE II
This Order shall become effective on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

REVOCATION OF APPOINTMENT OF A MAGISTRATE
WHEREAS by Administrative Order No. 11 of 18 February 1952 Prof. Dr. Luigi de Lítala, magistrate of III grade, placed at disposal of the Allied Military Government, was temporarily appointed, with his consent, as First President of the Court of Appeal of Trieste, and
WHEREAS he has requested to be relieved from his functions at the said Court, to be assigned to other duties,

DELEGATION OF AUTHORITY AS TO CONFIRMATION OF SENTENCES AND AS TO GRACE AND CLEMENCY
WHEREAS by Administrative Order No. 13 dated 6th March 1954 the authority as to confirmation of certain sentences and as to grace and clemency was delegated to FREDERICK C. DOUGH, Lieutenant-Colonel, JAGG, Director of Legal Affairs,
WHEREAS on or about 15 May 1954, Lieutenant-Colonel FREDERICK C. LOUGH, will cease to carry out his junctions as Director of Legal Affairs, Allied Military Government, it is necessary to delegate such authority to another Officer of the Allied Military Government,
NOW, THEREFORE, I, SIR JOHN WINTERTON, KCMG, CB, CBE, Major General, Zone Commander,
ORDER:
1.	— Administrative Order No. 13 dated 6th March 1954 is hereby repealed.
2.	— There is hereby delegated to, and vested in ROBERT W. REYNOLDS, Lieutenant-Colonel, JAGC, Director of Legal Affairs, Allied Military Government, the exclusive power and authority to confirm, commute, mitigate, or disapprove all sentences not exceeding two years imprisonment, or five hundred thousand lire fine, or both, adjudged by Allied Military Courts, and to order their execution.
3.	— There is hereby delegated to, and vested in ROBERT W. REYNOLDS, Lieutenant-Colonel, JAGC, Director of Legal Affairs, Allied Military Government, the exclusive power and authority to grant grace, and to order clemency either by commutation or mitigation, under such terms and conditions as he may impose, as to any sentences heretofore adjudged, or which may hereafter be adjudged, by either Allied Military Government Courts or by any Civilian Court, in which the penalty does not exceed two years imprisonment or five hundred thousand lire fine, or both.
4.	— This Order shall become effective on the date it is signed by me.
