New taxa for Slovenia are Aconitum x aquilonare, A. tauricum subsp. Iatemórense, A. tauricum subsp. tauricum var. eustachyum, A. tuscheticum and A. vitosanum. A. lobelianum is replaced by A. napellus s.str. and Consolida orientalis by C. hispanica. Gentiana lutea subsp. lutea and correspondingly the hybrid G. x montis-benedicti (syn. G. x laengstii nsubsp. laengstii) do not occur in Slovenia and therefore must be removed from the list. New combinations are Aconitum tauricum subsp. tauricum var. eustachyum, Consolida regalis subsp. paniculata var. sparsiflora, C. regalis subsp. regalis var. gianduligera and Gentiana x laengstii nsubsp. komnensis. Introductio n As a result of the revision of the genera Aconitum, Consolida and Del­phinium fo r the third edition of the Ranunculaceae in HEGI'S Illustrierte Flora von Mittel-Europa, I had to consider the taxa of these genera in the terri­tory of Slovenia as well. When I re­ceived this register fro m my colleague Andre j PODOBNIK in Ljubljana, I had to compare the recorded taxa with the results of my investigations to search for differences in the systematics and especially in the taxonomy used by TRPIN & VRES 1995. Within the genera I am working with I ascertained only in the genus Aconitum there are many taxa missing in all ranks. T o be in harmony with the latest state of th e taxonomy to be published in HEGI , it is necessary to make these additions and corrections for th e flora of Slov­enia. As I studied the species list in th e register, I also discovered a taxonomic mistake made in the nomenclature of hybrids in the genus Gentiana. A new combination is thus indispensable to bring the nomenclature of these hy­brids in line with the International Code of Botanical Nomenclature (GREU ­TER, & al. 1988). Aconitum x aquilonare, the hybrid between A. variegatum and A. vitosanum, is a new taxon for Slo­venia. Aconitum x cammarum is the most common cultivated Aconitum in Slovenia; you can usually see it with blue flowers, but also as cv. Bicolor with blue and white mixed flowers. Aconitum degenii subsp. paniculatum occurs in Slovenia with both of its two varieties, rarely as var. laxiflorum and mostly as var. turrachense (MUCHE R 1993a). A. x hebegynum, the hybrid between A. degenii and A. variegatum, occurs in the introgression area of its parents in western and southwestern Slovenia. Aconitum lobelianum is merely a synonym for A. napellus s.str. Aconi­tum subg. Lycoctonum sect. Lycocton­um can be divided into three subspe­cies of A. lycoctonum. The studies of A. I. subsp. ranunculifolium must be continued, although there seems to be another name that will have priority in the rank of a species, probably A. lupicida Rchb. The hybrids within this aggregate are not yet known for cer­tain. There are three species of Aco­ nitum subg. Aconitum sect. Napellus in Slovenia: A. napellus s.str. (and possi­bly subsp. lobelii and nsubsp. seitzii in the Kamnik Alps) and A. tauricum with its two subspecies latemarense and tauricum. The latter may be divided into var. eustachyum (Aconitum tauri­cum Wulf. subsp. tauricum var. eus­tachyum (Rchb.) Starmiihler comb, nov.; basionym: Aconitum eustachyum Reichen­bach 1820, Monogr. Aeon.: 96, t. 15, fig. 3) and var. tauricum and further into f. taurericum and f. tauricum. The hybrid between these two species, A. x teppneri, can certainly be found as nsubsp. kerneri, but nsubsp. goetzii and nsubsp. teppneri have not been con­firmed so far. Aconitum paniculatum Lam. as mentioned in MARTINCIC & SUSNIK 1969 is only a synonym for the garden plant A. x cammarum. Aconi­tum tuscheticum is a plant from the Caucasus that is very rare in Europe and has been found only in Slovenia. The hybrid between the two subspe­cies of A. variegatum, nsubsp. podobni­kianum, is very frequent in Slovenia and occurs mainly in this country (MUCHE R 1993b). Aconitum vitosanum, which belongs to the A. variegatum agg., is a new species for Slovenia (STARMUHLER 1996a).
